I find this one by Ohr to be the most balanced with clean lines from start to finish. Ohr Weinberg has quickly become one of the best tapers ever for me
...
and I just grabbed everything he's put out so far. He's seemingly just getting started putting his work out which is so exciting!!!

Another nice recording by OHR, thank you!!
As for the venue, not sure what ninga is getting at, but this was WAS indeed at the St Paul Civic Center (ticket ... stubs say so). And the Roy Wilkins was at the time (and still is) right next door, or adjacent to the building.
Which means this show was NOT played at the Roy Wilkins arena (however the Dead did play there in 73 when it was called the Auditorium). Which also means this show was also NOT played at the Met Civic Center in Bloomington (that name is incorrect anyway). Must have been some good drugs you on that night though! :-)
You appear to be a local (like myself), but some of your facts are incorrect.

The magic of 21st century sound engineering is most noteworthy. Jerry cleaned my clock right from the get-go with Estimated Profit; thank you very much
...
everybody who made this possible.
This is how I like my "Eyes of the World." Perky pace, crystal clear Jerry guitar, not too much other stuff, other musicians, whatnot, in the music.
Bob Wier's snarls nail the attitude throughout the show, if you could only see him now the way I remember him then; though you can still truly hear it now in CCRider and Samson & Delighya. Jerry's voice never sounded more pretty to me than at that show. n.b., it was easy to move around the barns in those days.
Did Bob really sing "you betcha" during "Good Love"?
Both "China Doll" and "Casey Jones" here apparently digitally muted audience participation, which is fine by me. The thing about digital that weirds me out is the silent gap between line items on the playlist. Its really a jolt at "16, drums; 17, fades; 18, fades; 19 space." Cuz like it is/was never quiet at any show, so there's this LP effect on reality continuous sound experience. Good grief.
A related weird thing is knowing the set list before its played, plus you can clock the tunes like the International Olympics. When you hear those silent gaps, you may wonder what didn't get recorded or was edited out, or whatever, but here the quiet bits are; I don't know why; maybe for geekdom reasons? Is is physically impossible to just have a continuous show separate from the playlist?
Just so ya know, the civic center in St. Paul, MN at that time was the Roy Wilkins Auditorium (NAACP guy), and correct me if I'm wrong, but the Dead never played there. I was at this show, and it was at the Met Civic Center Arena in Bloomington, MN, where now stands the Mall of America.
Later on Xcel Energy commandeered for its "Xcel Energy Center" the neigborhood and streets of Seven Corners, located just one block from the Roy Wilkins Auditorium, and turned it into a multi-purpose hockey rink that is better than the Mpls Target Center for indoor shows, but no match for Northrup at the U of MN.
These days we go to the senior sing-a-longs down at the Fitzgerald Theatre (the "fits"),where Rat Dog sells out all the beer before intermission, and by half-way through the second set all the wine and booze is gone, too...public radio owns and operates the place.
So, yeah, this is a great [what is word for digital equivalent for tape recording?]piece of work. Thanks!

The jam out of drums brought an element of surprise that was most refreshing.
